PHYSICAL LABORATORY II UNIVERSITY OF COPENHAGEN Los Alamos Scientific Laboratories __________ Thank you very much for your kind letter of July time our travel plans are fixed (with the exception that Dr. GjszJrup has to make final arrangements regarding a visit to Hanford). Our itinerary is attached to this letter for your information. Gj^rup and I are looking forward with great expectations to visit Los Alamos. Apart from my participation in the Conference, our main concern is of course to discuss recent results from Thule and the operations which are still going on. In order to be well informed about these operations I am going to Thule next week for four days. We beleive that everything is going fine. I have not as yet heard anything from Mr. W.T. Aldrich, who is your Security Liaison Group Leader. Let me add here that Dr. Seaborg has been notified about our travel plans. As mentioned earlier my wife is accompagnying me on the tour, but she does not intend to visit any of the technical areas. However, I hope she will be able to take part in the social arrangements of the Conference. Our transportation to Los Alamos from Albuquerque is taken care of. Regarding a time schedule for our discussions I feel we may leave this until we have arrived. Looking forward to seeing you again,
