Archive description
Slug cores with 2 surface finishes were prepared from simonds - rolled rod, canned by the triple dip process, and irradiated up to 1092 mwd/t without slug failure. Degree of surface roughness or method used for finishing have not appeared to affect either canning or irradn behavior.
