Archive description
Survey of possible build-up of higher isotopes in u metal which is recycled through the piles indicates only 2 isotopes, u236, which is an undesirable contaminant in u235 produced by k-25, and np237 which will lead to the production of significant amts. Of pu238 will effect the combined operations planned. The amounts of pu238 in the hw product, while undesirable, will not be completely objectionable.
