This letter is in regard to an inquiry regarding the los alamos pi mes research program. Kligerman states it is not possible to ascertain if her tumor is among those types which are suitable for treatment with t pion beam since the writer does not state her diagnosis. Kligerman states that at present the accelerator is shut down for extensive maintenance. When operation resumes, testing will be done with the be on skin nodules gradually progressing toward treatment of deeper tumor at higher dose level.
