The team encountered ’was halted and one monitor nroccedcd until 250 mr/hr was Encountered at N 334c000, S 679,500 at 0520, Rad-Safe Control was notified by radio and the survey was delayed until H/30 minutes (0525)» At H/25 minutes (0520) one monitor orocesded to main.access roads to Areas 1 and 3 and encountered no significant raciaticn.. At 0550 10 mr/hr was encountered at Grid Coordin 4, The vehicle-borne team for initial sur’/oy of areas other than shot areas (1 senior monitor and 3 monitors) started from the £-3 security station at H/l5 minutes (OplO) and encountered radiation intensities of 400 ror/hr in Area 2, 300 mr/hr in Area 4, and 14 mr/hr at ground zero in Area 9= junction for the uurpose of controlling entries into the contaminated area. It was operated continuously by two-roan crows until 2400 hours on D/l. Thor after the station operated as required by area activities through June 4, 19 60 Ee—surveys were made as scheduled. The mid-time on the H/6 hour resurvey could not be determined because this resurvay was started before completion of the initial survey, and there was some overlapping of data.
