MEMORANTXJM FOR DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE RADIATION EXPERIMENTS COMMAND CENTER ( A m . COL BAILEY) Forwarding of Human Radiation Experiments (HRE) MaterialsSUBJECT: This memorandum transmits DNA's working HRE search database in response to the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments (ACHRE) request dated 31 Oct 94. The attached diskette labeled "DNA-HRE" (DISK #1) contains a compressed copy of the full database including all box tracking records, folder tracking information, and document records for HRB related items submitted to ATSD(AE) for the RECC. The compressed f i e is self-extracting and the database files may be accessed using Q&A Version 4.0 for Windows database software by Symantec. The attached diskette labeled "RECC-NMS" (DISK #2) contains a compressed copy of only the HRE document records (in Q&A format) and is a subset of the database on DISK #l. Records containing & box and folder tracking information were purged to allow faster searches for documents of interest. The remaining records still contain the names of the DNA and contractor personnel conducting the searches. A comma delimited "export" of this database is also on the "RECC-NMS"diskette to allow the RECC to pull the database information into an alternative database application if desired. Field descriptors are provided The attached diskette labeled "RECC" (DISK #3) also contains a compressed copy of the HRE document records (in Q&A format) and is a subset of the databases on DISKS #I and #2. The names of the DNA and contractor personnel conducting the searches have been deleted. A comma delimited "expod' of this database is also on the "RECC" diskette. Field descriptors are provided at Attachment 2. DNA continues to make documeddata entries into the working search database. An updated copy of the working search database will be provided when complete. My POC for additional information is Major Michael R. Rooney, commercial (703) 325-7016 or DSN
