The Hydride I and Hydride II experiments of the Upshot program were observed by two members of the group. "α" and transit time measuring equipment of Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc., was examined in situ before each experiment. Consultations resulting in a more advantageous detector scheme for Hydride II were held. Analysis of the data from these two experiments is still in progress. The mechanical analogue has been completed and used to study the electron trajectories in the riddle and at the collector end of a presently produced photomultiplier. Electric field plots of the same geometries were also accomplished.
